Lawson Guitars was established on October 20, 2026 by Adam Lawson in Kingsport, TN. I started learning to play bass in 1997 and that eventually turned into a hobby of building kits in early 2026. This turned into the desire to learn to make guitars from scratch. After the purchase of multiple tools, saws, and sanding equipment it ended up as a business. As of October 2026, we now have a website up and running with a small amount of listings available on the shop. Any listing that mentions (TEST ENTRY) in the title does not exist and cannot be fulfilled. Parts of the website are still under construction, such as the payment merchant for online orders. Guitars listed on the site, such as the Zebrawood Les Paul, are guitars that were built. In the future, guitars that are hand built will be placed onto the website for purchase.
Custom builds can be submitted by visiting the custom orders page.
